Pilot Mountain Resources Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pacific Gold Corp., leases 30 unpatented mining claims covering 600 acres in Mineral County, Nevada. This project is called Project W, and is located approximately 168 miles from Reno, Nevada, about 21 miles east of the town of Mina.
Project W is primarily a tungsten deposit with known mineral resources previously established within the claim area per a feasibility study prepared by Kaiser Engineers in the early 1980's. Resource estimates from the main targets in the area, including the Desert Scheelite, Gunmetal, and Garnet occurences, are over 9,000,000 tons and approximately 35,000 tons WO3, grading 0.386% WO3.
